Hot electrics!
Hi,
Have a 'TOAD' UK immobiliser fitted. Idea is an electronic gizmo on key ring is sensed by the immoboliser system and engine will start. Only mine sensed the gizmo usually on the third attempt at starting. Today the starter motor was fired up after about 6 attempts but (I guess) no ignition or maybe fuel pump (don't know what the immobiliser was spliced into). Think I have found the immob. unit behind left floor wooden kick plate. Is is fairly easy to trace wires and get rid of this faulty unit? ALSO, what are the three other boxes screwed to the back of this kick plate for? One has a black connector which feels so hot to the touch I have disconnected battery for time being as a precaution!!
