Clutch Cable connecting clevis -- HELP

Any good techniques or advice on re-attaching the *&$@!*(?** connecting clevis.

I re-furbed my pedal cluster and now trying to re-install. Very tight under the forward tunnel.

This is how a good weekend turns sour.

I always remove the passenger seat (no steering wheel to contend with), but I don't know if that helps you right at this moment. Got any little kids?

Is the problem that the pressure on the cable is tight or the access is tight? Have you tried disconnecting it at the gearbox and getting some slack in it? Can't remember how I did mine but it was fairly easy IIRC, I probably used a pair of big grips further back the cable.

The clutch spring was the hardest part of the job for me, what a PITA.

Just did mine. For me I removed the carpet above the said area so that you can gain access from above.

Great advice, We are good to go now. Now I have got to get some vernier calipers to reset the appropriate distances.

Is there a straightforward reason that my brake pedal has no play in it?
