what size battery?
1986 911 Carrera motor... in a 914
Too many driving lights ( 2 pr Cibie IODE) ... stock sized h4 headlights.... killer stereo.... No AC... No Heat |

Check the alternator output specs. It's more important than the battery (only for starting). An '86 alternator should be good enough for your hardware, but confirm anyway.
Volts x Amps = Watts Imagine all these working at once: 4 Cibie lights = 2 H4s = Stereo Ign. Wiper motor Fan Misc. You don't want a situation where the charging system can't supply the needed current. Otherwise, it comes out of the battery (NG). Sherwood |
