Any NE Pelicanites going to the Hemmings Sports & Exotic Carshow at Limerock?

			http://www.hemmings.com/events/limerock.html

May 27. Pre-register your car online and pay a discounted rate when you show up. Porsche is the featured marque this year and we will have our own "special" parking area. AdamB,TimG and I are planning on being their. Maybe set a early AM meeting place and caravan down together?

Speaking of AAA I think you get a discount on entry at LRP with a card. I really like the Hemmings publication too.

Grrr. My sister is coming into town (from San Fran) that weekend. I'll have to see if I can creatively alter her travel schedule so that I can go for a day or two of the long weekend--though most of the local inns have a 3-day minimum. The show (IMO) was a bit of a dud last year; a few great cars, but nowhere near the turnout that I've seen in past years at Lime Rock. But there are a lot of Porsches out there, so perhaps that will improve the participation.

Will you be bringing your car? I registered the SC online. You have to register the car for a discount and you pay when you get to the event. Porsche is the featured marque. I figure at minimum registering the car will guarantee safe parking.

I'll be going up from the Hudson Valley region, Middletown NY and Newburgh, if anyone else is. I go the "back way" up 82 to 44 and in to CT. Much more enjoyable....

Hi Andrew, not yet. I will try and do tonight.

I am looking forward to it. I guess it means I need to clean the inside out. Looks like a homeless person has been living in there. David

Dave don't bother cleaning it... I am going Dirty

Since I sold my concours winning CE I celebrate the patina my 29 yr old SC has. It sits covered in dust, dirt, sawdust in Adam's barn in Danvers. My plan is to bring it as is dirt and all. I love every scratch, scrape, ding, nick, scuff the car has. EVERY LAST ONE!

The car looks very different from the time it was at your grandfathers barn. It now has a center fill tank, cibie hood lights, a metal/fiberglass ducktail, plaid 930 sport seats, widened steelies, and it sits a little lower then euro ride height. Kind of the euro cafe' racer look but without the carnuba sheen.

We'll have to catch up. I want to hear all about the decision to get rid of the CE. As nice as it was, I am pretty excited to see where you took the SC. Your plans the last time we spoke were great. David

Will do my best to oblige...

But its a conundrum-the 911 is nicer to drive, but the GTV just oozes style...

			Ok, here's the solution:

If you bring the Alfa I'll let you take my 73 911T (with a 3.2 mind you) out for a romp thru the Connecticut country side! Is that a deal?
