Urgent : Passenger seat blocked on 993

Hello everybody,

I'm selling my 993 tomorrow and just remarked that the passenger seat is blocked and cannot move backward and forward anymore. It's possible to move it up down and also to incline it.
It seems that when I pushed the buttons the 'motor' is forcing...

What can be the problem?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Olivier

they tend to get stuck when all the way back. grit or carpet bits probably. i've got most of them going again by either wacking the tracks from the rear with a big rubber hammer or getting into the back and pushing/bumping with my feet as someone works the switch.

Hi John,

I'm going to try to solve this problem with your advise. For info, it seems that the passenger seat is totally at rear position.

Same with me. Seat all the way back is an issue, as is all the way down on the other axis. Have fixed it before but it seems to always come back a little......

Hi Wickd89,

Do you use John's same method for fixing this problem?
