A milestone reached (pics)

Today was a big day for my SC. The odo turned 200,000 miles! Now, the true mileage of this car is probably more like 215,00, but I had the speedo sent out for repairs when the engine was rebuilt and they turned the clock back a bit. Anyway, here are some pics of my baby with her new ducktail. Enjoy.
almost there:

200,000 and counting!

and now some gratuitous pics. check out the new tail!

thanks. i meant to take that front plate off for those pics, but i forgot. yeah, i pulled in to a gas station about two years ago and a cop was in the p-lot. when i got out of the convenience store he says "what kind of license plate you got on there?" I tell him its a euro plate and he asks for my license and registration. Gives me a ticket for not having a front license plate, expired insurance card and expired inspection.
That was a bad day for me as I had previously been pulled over for speeding and making an illegal lane change and got the same paper ticket for no insurance. Grand total: six tickets, one day. My personal best.

200k and still looks almost brand new! That is great testimony of a quality built vehicle (and a caring owner of course). I am only half way and it will take me another 15 years to reach 200k with my current yearly mileage.

thanks for the responses guys. it certainly is a testimony to these cars. mine was used as a daily driver from '83 to '88 when the po (my father) got into an accident on the Long Island Expressway. Seems a woman was putting on her makeup and didnt realize traffic had stopped. Slammed on her brakes and ended up spinning out, slamming into the passenger side of my father's car. Shortly after, he bought a Dodge Ramcharger and the 911 was relegated to Sunday drives. That is until I was 21 and bought the car from him (at a substantial discount from blue market value).
It's been my daily driver since then and has undergone a full engine and tranny rebuild, plus a few small modifications i've made my self while trying to get through med school and now my residency. I have every service record and receipt for this car, including the original bill of sale (final price approx. 32,000), the original key card and tag, plus a few cool pics of me as a toddler "helping" dad wash his car.
I love everything about this car and I intend to keep driving and maintaining it until my son is ready to take over ( he needs to be born first of course). anyway, i'm off to put some more miles on this p-car, hope you all do the same.
cheers.

Congratulations!

Here's my 2002 (though I can't boast the same mileage). Looks like I was headed to a gas station....

15 mph? that's actually zero, as i was sitting in a parking lot when i took those pics. Don't worry, i did her justice tonite when no other stupid drivers and cops were around. I can really feel a difference with the new rear spoiler on. here's a rear ciew mirror self portrait i meant to post with the others:

now, lets see all those other high mileage beauties out there.

There's a thread on high mileage around somewhere, but here you go.... A little over 226,000 miles. One family car, no engine work.
