3.2 Carrera hard to start when hot.

My 87 3.2 starts fine when it is cold, but when hot,it turns over really slowly, and takes a few goes before it will start. Anyone got any suggestions? Thanks, Andrew | ||

Probably the fuel pressure regulator ( on one side of the fuel system alongside the left - ? - side of the engine) .....or the similar looking fuel pressure damper on the right (?) side of the engine ....as part of the fuel line delivery system. I think a search on these two terms may help you to find more... - Wil

Most probably your starter solenoid......eventually it will not turn over at all when hot.
