It would be a pleasure to drive in with the SOCG, if you plan a meeting. I'm not sure where I'll be on the project, but I'll bring it half azz'd or half baked, if they'll let me in. I bet they have a rule about primer although I got a whole car displayed in primer in '05, he heh.

Just another bump, come by and visit at least. The 911 Turbo is one of the signature cars this year.

I'd love to but I'll be visiting the Inca City of Machu Picchu in the Peruvian Andes and spending a few days in the Jungle lowlands of the Amazon River.

Have a great time guys and I'll see you for the BB run.

Wow, Scott!!!

I'd love to join you guys, but I am moving to Montana around June 1st and things are a bit hectic, to say the least. The Carrera 4 will serve me well in the snow

Hey Kelly,

Don't mean to hijack, but.... yes, leasing out the place here in OC and moving to Montana as a spring/summer residence. Will be wintering in Brazil. Will be down in SoCal every month or so to visit and race at Willow on the bike.

Richard,
Sorry to see our SOCG Social chairman move away. We will miss you!

Thought it had been a while since we heard from you. I hope you take both your Pcar and Fcar to be able to enjoy the "no speed limit" state.

Life is always changing and it is always nice when you meet some excellent people along the way. Wish I had more time to get to know all the SOCG members more, but I am just glad to be invited.

Best of luck at all you do!
P.s. First purchase in Montana= Industrial snow blower!!!

Hope to see a few of you there....

Montana removed that law a number of years ago. Used to be that you could "speed" from dawn till dusk, but, it seems that all of the Germans heard about this and abused the interpretation a little. Ya know, the autobahn being crowded and all. Make sure to keep a $5 (or two) with your registration. Speeding is considered a "waste of a natural resource" and payable on the spot. <-- no points, no ins. dings.

Dave

Registration and entry for cars on display is from 6AM to 8AM in the morning. The show is an all day thing but I would recommend arriving by 10am if you are just spectating. We have 102 Porsches pre registered so I expect about 150 Porsches total. There are usually over 300 cars in the main 'HB Concours' part of the show so there is a lot to see.

Apparently someone is bringing a Bugatti Veyron and this year they are featuring a "Salute to: Cadillac and LaSalle & Alfa Romeo". There is usually a very strong Ferrari contingent and a nice mix of Panteras, BMWs, American classics, and just about anything else you can think of.

Still wish I could find a 924 turbo and 944 turbo for our main display...

Dave,
Did not know that Montana dropped the autobahn rule. How did I miss that one! At least we have one reason to go out there: Richard (oh and Lilly too)....
