Tire rub on my '66

Both front tires start to rub on the strut at about 3/4 lock. Do I need spacers like came on '68's? Anybody know size those are? The tires are 205/60/15 on 15x6 Fuchs.

This thing sits awfully high in the front too which puts the widest section of the tire at the at the lower part of the strut which cants outward at the bottom.

Keep in mind I've never driven this car and the PO's Porsche assembly expertise is becoming more suspect every day.

Any thoughts?

Rich, I think Porsche changed the actual hub thickness in '68, when they applied 5 1/2 inch wheels. You can go with the later hub, which I think is a better solution than spacers.
