GT3 RS color choices...

maybe I should have posted this as a poll, but I wanted to hear reasons.

Do any of you spend spare time drooling over the 997 GT3 & RS like I do ?

Specifically speaking of the RS, I've seen -mostly- Orange cars with Black Script. Which looks great ! I've also seen a good number of Black w/ Orange & several Green w/ Black cars. I haven't seen any in Silver, and only one or two in White (which is MY favorite!).

It costs $3K for Orange & Green. It costs $4K for white ??!! Silver is a no-charge base color, I think Black is too.

What color would you pick if you were ordering an RS ?

I was a little startled to cross paths with a black/orange one the other day here in town. For some reason it looked like it was REALLY dark blue but that may have been an optical illusion. Very stunning regardless.

IF..... and that is one very big IF.... I had my way, I would go with White first! and then I'd go Green and black as a second choice.

I think I have a silver pic for you it's NICE but not stunning.

I love the CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!! who cares what color it is!

Those colors will be available on "other" Porsche models in 2008.... expect to see some Caymans and Boxsters sporting those cool colors.
However, paint to sample would be great for a GT3 (RS or regular) to make it a one of a kind...

Are there any photos of a Black RS with Gray/Gunmetal Script & Gunmetal wheels ?? I think that would look hot...

Chad is right the RS colors are already offered in Europe.. here is a 997 Carrera S with the RS orange.

I see the turbo wheels on the 997 as well, is there a black wheel option fron the factory?

You can have Porsche paint them at the factory for some cash. It is an option.

from the special wishes dept?
