Any feedback on this Turbo?

I am still looking for my turbo. How come this has not sold? Has anyone seen this? Details?

Thanks.

I think the leaking, high mileage (esp. for a Turbo), unrebuilt engine, and those horrible wheels, are scaring people off.

For the few that remain, that color combo finishes them off.

Funny, Diamond Blue Met was a sought after color back in the day! It always seemed to be pared with the Burgundy interior..although I've seen afew with grey.

Can't tell just from photo, but drivers side fender looks to be different shade from rest of car... paint work?

Dependant upon extent of leaks & overall condition of engine, and final price.. could be a deal.

Definately high miles on a turbo without a build, although the leaks could be just seals, gaskets, and hoses.

Wheels are a real put off and an expense to consider cause those gotta go!

It has only been there a few days.. I would buy that car in a second if I had the cash, even if I thought a rebuild was imminent. For that price, I'd say a rebuild was factored in.

I like the color. Not my first, second or third choice but if the paint would detail out nicely I'd have no trouble owning it. The oil leak COULD be something relatively minor but without a PPI you won't know. The milegae really is high for a turbo so I'd factor the cost of a rebuild (and PPI info) into my thinking if you want to go forward with a purchase of this car. Could be a good deal, could be a financial disaster wating to happen....you know? Like most Porsche purchases!

To do a rebuild correctly on this car would cost significant dollars and you know its going to need one shortly so IMHO its not that great a deal. From the pics it looks nice and clean but who knows what lurks under the rear deck lid? Figure a few grand for a good set of Fuchs too.

What would a rebuild cost, out of curiosity?

High end , quality warranted rebuild with remove / replace and sport tune included = 12 K

12 K + 21 K = cha ching , mucho dinaro for this ride , plus you got to figure in replacing those wheels , and that factory steering wheel needs to go , yep by the time your done you are easy looking at a mid to high 35 K ride.....

I've seen that car in person on a fun run last fall. Very clean. Looks like it sold rather quickly!
