help needed: installing an amps instrument
 

Hi,
I had to realise that the instructions that came with the amps instrument I bought for my early 911 do not apply to Porsche.
Anyone have experience with installing these and can give me instructions on how I should do this?

you basically run an amp meter between the big red wire on the alternator and the + battery terminal. so you would have to cut that circuit somewhere and extend the wiring up to the dash mounted amp gauge. not really a good idea.
