DYNO equipment

I am evaluating the possibility of buying a Dynamometer and wonder if there is anyone in here who can help me with some info on the best choices out there.

I just started my research and went through several website from different manufacturers, but I feel kind of lost with so many alternatives... Also, most of them don't have pricing info on their websites. So, I will appreciate any info on pricing as well.

Thanks in advance for the help.

I liked this one. Bolting it up took a little bit and you need to make sure you have the correct hub adapters. Once bolted up operation was easy. Plus it is semi-transportable in case you care: http://www.rototest.com/rototest-dynamometer.php

Here are some shots of us using it on a 550 replica with a turbocharged VW engine using fuel injection and MS-II control.

I don't know. I think the guy we were working with mentioned aomething in the 100k$ range but don't quote me on it. This is a local shop in town that works on British and Italian sports cars.

I would iquire on their website - that should give you pricing and whether there is a rep or not.

Cheers,
Ingo
