Which cap and rotor for '77 2.7?
I'm working on doing some tune up items and wanted to replace the cap and rotor in my '77 2.7. I had assumed that my distributor was a normal stock item, but was surprised when I pulled the cap off and saw that my rotor is not the normal 2.7 rotor (with or w/o the rev-limiter). It is Bosch part #1234 33 2215. I did a search and saw another post referencing this part number as a VW rotor. I would like to switch back to the normal stock 2.7 rotor. Is there going to be a problem? The cap that is currently on is Bosch part #1235 522 060. Any thoughts... or am I just being paranoid?
