Sizing new tires and rims for 87 911
Here are the sets I'm looking at, both are turbo twists with tires.
Front 17x7.5 ET23 235/40/ZR17 Rear: 17x9 ET15 Rear: 245/40/ZR17 or Front 17x 7.5J ET23 205/50ZR17 Rear 17x9J ET15 255/40/ZR17 If I'm reading the charts posted out there these should be OK but I'm certainly not an expert in this area. Anyone see an issue with either of these sets or have any suggestions? Thanks Brian

Both should fit your car fine at stock ride height. If you are at Euro or lower, you may have some rubbing issues at the front with the 235/50.
I would choose the 205/255 set if it was me.

Turbo twists in an early offset? Where did you find these?

You can get aftermarket rims with the correct offsets for our cars
