Hydraulic clutch on a 915

Has anyone heard of or done this type of modification? I would like to have this type of clutch on my SC, can anyone help?

This could be cobbled together pretty reasonable-- You just need a line, and appropriately sized master and slave cylinders. The VW and sand rail aftermarket is ripe with these products.

It's true that these products are out there, but to adapt these to a Porsche floor pan would require a custom pedal set, or a modified stock pedal assy. that would accept a hydrolic master cylinder.

I did this on my 72T, but I also got the benefit of power brakes.

The pedal assy is much different and in my case required a replacement of the luggage tray.

I had to cut out a section from a wreck and weld it in place to locate the new parts.

Once this was done it was a simple replacement of the original parts w the G50 equivalent.

I fitted a G50 trans so the slave cyl was already mounted.

Perhaps the Wevo 915 bits could be used at the tranny end to simplify things.

Not easy but doable.

If I can find photos I will post them.

Cheers,

Len
