Help!! car in AZ Transportation woes

Hey all;

I bought a car and it is in Avondale AZ. I paid a transportation company AAAdvantage Transportaion and Carmoves.com to move the car. They have had my money and car for a month, and come to find out the car is till in Az (Avondale to be exact)

3 questions

1. need a local attorney to get my car.

2. need a real transportation company, that will actually get my car to me

3. i'd love to talk to someone in Avondale to check the car to insure it's not damaged

thanks
andy

You need to supply more information...
Did this company pick it up and move it to a lot? Is it awaiting pickup at a terminal?
Did you sign a contract stating you would receive the car by a certain date?
What makes you think it is damaged?

With my experience with auto movers - the less you pay means it may get shuttled between several carriers before you finally see it. I always pay for the company that delivers it in the same truck it leaves the destination it.
Good luck-

I've been there with a shipper before, sometimes they just let the car sit at the terminal until a free spot opens up going in your direction. You could waste a lot of money with an attorney to get your car out of there and still need to ship it out. Maybe try putting the screws to them to get it on a truck.

If needed some of us locals could fetch your car if you can get it released. Where are you shipping to? I have a guy going to the Midwest in a couple of weeks if you are in that direction.
