Head stud question.
I'm wondering it there a way to tell if my head studs were replaced? Why i ask this is because i noticed my head studs are shiny and new looking, they don't look like the grayish black in color dilavar head studs. Maybe the PO had the head studs repaired or replaced?
From my "how to rebuild your 911 engine" book by Wayne, It says the dilavar head studs are non-magnetic and look grayish black in color. Will a magnet answer this question for me? Sorry if this question sounds "DUMB". TIA -Jeff

Yup, the magnet test is a pretty good indicator...
