2007 Carrera S
Atlas Grey Metallic/Black Sport Chrono and Factory Short Shifter 333 Miles on the maiden voyage. Don't let anyone tell you these water-cooled cars aren't visceral, raw and fun as hell! ![]()

I instructed a guy in a 997S last year at a DE. His first time on the track. The car only had 1500 miles on it. It was incredible. Much quicker car than my track-prepped "raw, visceral" car (read: uncomfortable and loud).
Great car!! Congrats!!!

Beautiful, true, but now you have to be careful where you park it....

Well, I'm always mindful of parking, but this one is a driver.
I've had my fill of fighting vehicle entropy. Things will happen. They will be dealt with and fixed.

Congrats on a beautiful car! I've driven a 997S as well as a 996 GT3. They are still rather raw cars and a blast to drive.
I'm looking forward to getting a 997S in the next year or so myself. Enjoy! David

Yes - the 997 is definately a car I aspire to own...
Maybe when they are 37 years old I can get one!!! So keep that one in good shape - I will be calling you in 2044!!!! Untill then I will enjoy my 1970 911 and gloat about how "raw and visceral" my car is (come on - I have so little!!!!)
