Fuel tank resto
I just picked up a 912 that has been sitting for 10 years. What is the best way to restore the fuel tank? I have read lots of posts, but I do not see what I believe is the definitive answer. Thanks for the help.

Sometime a local radiator or parts store will offer that service.

I think your 912 does not have the "swirl pot" so you may be ok with a radiator shop. Do a search and see what others have said.

Yes, I have used local rad. shops before for gas tank reline, but my question is: Does the "Red Coat" really last? Or is it just a half asses repair? I do not like doing things twice. Thanks
