Detroit Area Pelicanheads - Meet at Autozone Tomorrow?

Garen tells me that there's a weekly gathering of interesting cars at Autozone on Woodward in Birmingham every Saturday morning starting at 8:30 AM. The owner has coffee and doughnuts for everyone.
Anyone care to meet me there?

Well, I just returned from the gathering. There was an eclectic mix of stuff: Corvettes (new ZO6, old ZO6, a resto-mod '59 with a C5 engine), some muscle cars, a tweeked up Mini, a Dino, a Viper coupe, ect. Porsche was well represented by a 964 turbo (me), Garen's 930 track/street racer, a nice 928S and a '68 912 with a 2.7 in it (sweet sounding car, by the way).

The only issue was that the right lane of Woodward was being paved so getting in and out was a challenge. Otherwise it was a interesting group.

Woodward being torn-up sure is an inconvenience, but I'm glad people still came out. Seems like my car is the perfect tool to pick up every last bit of loose asfalt from the construction lanes!! There was a sweet 2002 BMW, white with flares, and an old two stroke, water-cooled, 3 cylinder Audi. By the way, Paul's 964T is AWESOME.
