Momo Prototipo Steering Wheel Help 73 911 T

I purchased a Momo Prototipo wheel (and hub C0230) for my 73 1/2 911 T.

I got the hub nut off and removed the steering wheel.

I put the new momo hub on, and attached the steering wheel and put the hub nut back on. Problem - the wheel has a lot of play moving up and down and to the sides - no play in and out. In fact, I tried to remove the hub, and I can't get it to slide off the shaft, it feels "stuck" or locked.

Any help? Do I have the right hub? Why can't I get this thing off now?

Appreciate any help.

Tks

Bill

Not sure if you have the right hub but they will fit snug, slip a long bar, wrench etc, wrapped with rag through hub, tap with mallet and pull, it will come off. About your wobble, did you reinstall the spring and spring washer from original wheel?

Had similar problem (tight, not wobbly). Had installed a Momo Competition wheel and adapter. Slightly out of alignment with tire orientation, tried to remove it, geez ... it was like it was welded on! Had to resort to a puller.

Assuming the Momo adapter is just a very, tight tolerance in the grooved/spline area? But once in place ...tight (steering) is better than sloppy.
