how faster is 1979 porsche 911 turbo than a 1979 porsche 911 sc in a quarter mile, me and my friend was talking about this today thanks.

About 1 1/2 to 2 seconds, depending upon driver skill.

I don't have 1/4 mile times but 0-60 for a 79 sc wa factory rated at 6.0 and for a 79 turbo was rated at 5.4 so you can guestimate probably a 1.5 or so by the 1/4 mile
