hi.. i have a question how can i tell if i have cis or motronic injection thanks

A 79 should have CIS, unless a previous owner did an engine swap. There are lots of ways to distinguish the two systems. Maybe the easiest visual is the location of the air filter. CIS = large rectangular filter on top of the motor in the center. Motronic = slightly smaller square filter on the right toward the back of the engine compartment.

If you engine looks like Danny's photo you have CIS, which is correct for your '79 911 SC

The CIS system has six aluminum runners that attach to a central plastic plenum via short (1.5") rubber sleeves. The later systems use intake manifolds that are cast together, one per side.
