shop referral Chicagoland/Wisconsin

Hello-
My car just got painted and needs to be reassembled. I'm also upgrading to a 3.6 engine in a 76 car. Have not had any luck finding someone to finish the project. Everyone seems to be too busy this time of year. If anyone knows of someone let me know.

I'm in the northern Chicago suburbs...you are correct, the good shops are all too busy to take on a project like that with track support and track car maintenance. My friend has been waiting months to get his car done, but it always gets pushed to the back of the shop because "another" track weekend is approaching. You are better off waiting until fall. PM me if you'd like some shop names and recommendations.
