Is it OK to have a full size spare with a wider tire?

My tires are 205 but I found a spare that has a 225. Any probs with running a wider tire for a short period of time?

Without knowing the year of your car or the width of the rim, the only possible problem would be tire rubbing on a wheel well if you have a narrow sided car. Otherwise, there should be no problem. If you're concerned about diameter differences, consider the inflatable spare that's standard equipment on post 73 911's. The factory must not be concerned.
