transport west to east coast company?

Hi sorry this is not tech but I need a good company to transport a 2005 VW from CA to FL, any companies to recommend or recommend I stay away from? Or tips to look for in a good one.

Generally the good ones offer full refunds (deposit etc) if you cancel the order. Check insurance etc.

From what I can tell they are pretty much all the same - they are generally brokers who take your deposit then post the car on a carrier database ie. Porsche 911 from XXX, Ca to XXX, FL, fee $XXX. The various carriers log-on each day and see if any of the postings fit their current trailer locations, if so, Bingo! If not, you could be waiting for a good few weeks.

Enclosed carriers seem to be easier as you are paying more money and therefore they are more attractive to the carriers. My 911 is currently on its way to Boulder from FL in an enclosed carrier, we have been waiting for a pickup date for my wifes car for over 3 weeks, finally got one today for the 5 July.
