What did I see?
I was walking by a local body shop that always has a great selection or rare and generally hot cars in one form of repair or another and I saw the rear end of a Porsche that I couldn't quite identify. I thought I'd throw it out to this sage and august group and see what you can come up with.
It was a guards red 964 with wide flares like the 3.6 turbo but with a standard (no turbo-spoiler) rear-end. The thing that originally caught my eye was that the car is badged "911" like the Seinfeld 993. Any ideas? |

Possibly a '93 Carrera 4 "Celebration" model. Rare in the US, although a few cars have popped up here. Usually an Amethyst color, so the Guard's Red is a little unusual. Could also have been a "94" Carrera 4 with a different badge added to the back.

I'll try to sneak a pic...the car is in the garage part of the repair place right now. I think Axl nailed it....a wide-bodied C4. A pretty aggressive looking car.
