K&N Rainshield install question.

Just got my package with my Rainshield air cleaners from our host for my 71 T. I understand how the breather kit works, hooking up to the oil tank breather line, and connecting to the evaporator vent line, just as the stock breather line and evaporator line hooks up to the stock air cleaner housing. The connector provided with the kit has fittings for two tubes to go to each of the individual "hats" so thats all ok and understandable.

My question has to do with the small 8 or 10mm rubber vacuum tube ( or so I think it's that).... that attaches to the bottom of the air cleaner housing near the oil tank breather connection. This line comes from the front of the motor, at the right side, somewhere beyond the body to motor seal. There is no fitting in the kit for this tube. Where does this line do, and what can I attach it to?
Anyone BTDT?
Thanks!

MRA-
I think you are referring to the fuel tank vent line. It comes from the charcoal canister at the front of the car. It's twin comes from the fan shroud, just forward of the cooling fan. The shroud line pressurizes the canister, which then vents to the air cleaner. I'm setting up my individual filters at the moment, and intend to provide a fitting on the filter top to accommodate the vent line.

I think MRA is talking about the vent line that goes to the passenger side of the engine bay. I jacked my car up and looked underneath, and it has a rubber nipple on the end which looks like just a vent.

I have 2 lines on the drivers side that comes forward. Do both of these go to the charcoal cannister?

Thanks guys.
The line I am referring to is at the right side of the car, small size, that ends at the bottom of the aircleaner. It exits the engine bay on the right, at the seal, about at the point where the shroud ends and the rt side head starts. I think the the evaporative cannister line is on the left side, and larger than this one I am referring to. The fitting provided connected the evaporative line with the oil tank breather hose, and then has two connectors that branch into two hoses for each of the "hats" This small line has nothing to hook up to with the present supplied fittings.
I will take some pics today to clarify this as well as call my shop to see if they can help.

Here is the photo for what I found out is a drain line for the aircleaner. The bigger hose above it is the oil tank breather. An easy fix, I just removed the hose and that was that. Other than the rubber washers for the tops of the rainshields being missing from the install kit, My 15 yr old son will be finishing the install today. I will be taking the car out tonight ( after checking his work) to hear that glorious intake roar....
Thanks for the help!
Martin
