Question Little stick plug? What the heck is this?

Howzit!

Identification please... lol

I'm cleaning and preparing my engine compartment to install my heater block-off plate... As I'm wrapping up for the evening, I find this little plug (tip is rubber), tool, or something...(see photo below). I don't know if this even belongs to the car???

Interestingly I found it just sitting there on my open deck, near the latch hole...

Does anyone have any idea what this is? Where it might come from?

Thanks much,

Tom

It's a plug for the idle mixture screw access hole, located between the intake air rubber boot (above the flapper valve) and the fuel distributor head.

I love this site! Thanks Al for the fast comeback. Interestingly I had a tech adjust my mixture early in the week (Mon), and I drove the car everyday thereafter. I'm lucky I didn't lose it!

Thanks so much!

Mahalo!

Tom
