Team Dixie Racing #69, driving a 1969 911T in the 2007 Great American Race has developed some engine trouble and needs help. The engine is running rough and they have been unable to get it sorted. Bryan Dickson from Argyle, TX and Joe Correia of Virginia Beach, VA won the Rookie Division at the Great Race Texas in April, but this is their first Great Race U.S. The race left Chattanooga today will finish the Stage in Nashville. The cars arrive at the Lane Motor Museum at Murfreesboro Pike and Arlington Avenue at 5:55 p.m.Central. If there are any 911 folks in the area that can lend a hand to help sort the car, we could use your help. We really want to see Bryan and Joe make it to the Finish. Here is a shot of Bryan and Joe at Lowes Motor Speedway before the Start last Saturday in Concord, NC.
Also, Team Bummfuzzle, driving a 1965 356 C won the Rookie class in Stage 1 and placed second in Stage 2. A great showing for Porsche! Thank you! Bill Ewing Great Race, CEO 714-338-8882 ![]() |

Bill I am not close enough to assist in person, however, can you/they post the engine specs. (ie: Carbs or F.I.? Bosch or perhaps Permatune ignition? Fuel pump type?...etc.) This may allow someone with specific spare parts to help.
