Thumbs up I got my most excellent 101 Projects book by Wayne Dempsey !

Autographed of course

Man! there is some good stuff in this book that will save me boatloads of money.

Question is, I noticed there are two versions of this book. Mine is the white cover with the red Porsche in the middle. Does the second book have completely different projects in it or what is the difference?

I don't have the second edition but my guess is the second edition probably addresses errors in the first edition.

Projects are most likely the same.

If you like 101 Projects then you'll love his engine rebuilding book should you ever decide to rebuild your engine.

Not kidding. Virtually all publications have errors that are addressed in second editions. It is common. Most are typographical.

Waynes' books are good and have stood the test of time. No reason to be alarmed.

Porsche factory manuals have lots of minor errors. It is no big deal.

P.S. The printing of the second edition was most likely due to the success of the first edition. In otherwords, they sold more than they printed in the first round. The opportunity of a second printing allows for improvement on the the first edition.

Wayne's book and this site (forums) have enabled me to keep my 34-year-old 911 on the road!

Go to www.101projects.com and click on updates. All the corrections are there. Great book even without the corrections.
