alternator install question
 

The plastic housing which attaches directly to the back of the alternator has metal vanes attached to it. I forgot to notice whether those go on oriented toward the top or the bottom of the alternator ( having some trouble fitting the assembly back together, and I think that might be the problem).

Hey guy, I just came in from removing mine to take it in for an exhchange. They go up, towards the top. I can never remember stuff like that so I always take pics. There is a great removal/install tech article on Rennlist.
