Por-15
I have acid dipped my Targa tub and considering painting the clean tub with POR-15.
Anyone know how much POR-15 I am going to need? |

I would consider having the whole car primed in self etching epoxy primer. This is as impermiable as POR 15 and it is what the pros use. I would not put POR on any surfaces but the underside and floor pan. You will also need to use ty-coat to put a finish over POR.

Isn't there an issue with UV exposure and POR 15? Not really sure just think I read that somewhere?

+1 on what Daniel said. You will need quite a bit less than a quart to do the underside. You might also consider painting some of the suspension parts with it.

POR stands for paint over rust. It really doesn't bond that well to clean metal. You could have just painted the tub without acid dipping it!
