				oil level and plugs

			Hello everyone,

I know I have seen some general threads on these subjects, but I wanted to ask two specific questions about these: 1. My euro 3.2 stalls when I remove the oil cap to access the dipstick and check the oil level. How can I check it correctly? How can I prevent it from stalling? Do I have only the oil level gauge to go by? Is this good or bad that my engine stalls when the oil cap is removed? 2. I am thinking of putting some NGK copper plugs in for my euro 3.2. What is the correct plug and do I have to gap them? Do they make a 3 prong copper one? TIA, Scott

			1. what's your idle set at? when you remove the filler cap the idle will drop b/c the vacuum pressure is affected. 2. recommended plugs? Bosch WR7DC Spark Plug: http://www.pelicanparts.com/catalog/shopcart/911M/POR_911M_BAStun_pg1.htm#item0 Good luck, Jack

i think you are missing (or it is skewed in the hose) part 10a. it is a restrictor. car will die without it, if you take the oil cap off.

ps: Yes, make sure they are gapped correctly even if they are new. Last edited by KFC911; 07-06-2007 at 06:22 AM.. |
