89 Cab Interior Trim Missing??

The car is an 89 911 Carrera Cabriolet, purchased used, and I'm trying to find out if I'm missing two interior trim pieces. The dealer parts reference is obscure. From the interior, looking toward the rear there are trim pieces where the convertible top meets the interior. These pieces follow that line around, I think, all the way to the door posts. In my case, there are no trim pieces on either side from the door posts back about 12 to 14 inches (the same location as where the top mechanism folds down). As a result, the rough edge of the carpet and the body sheet metal are exposed. This doesn't seem consistent with Porsche's approach to fine fit and finish.

Can anyone confirm that trim pieces should be there and, if possible, the Porsche part numbers. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Bill

how did you make out with this? I am missing a lot of trim in my 82 Targa converted cab and would like to get it to clean up the looks of the car... Please let me know if you found a resource.

The easiest way to solve this problem is describe exactly the location of the missing pieces to a Pelican representative over the phone. They are very helpful.
