Race Clutch Disc

Is it worth investing in a solid cneter or 4-puck solid clutch disc for a 915 race car with about 200RWHP? Currently running a Sach's power clutch with standard spring center disc.

TIA, John

I wouldn't think so. 200 RWHP is about stock for ROW SC's/Carreras. I'm not sure you really gain anything except a minor savings in weight at best. You certainly don't need any more clamping force... you may find your leg gets tired faster too! Also, racing clutches are very on/off. Useful on track, but not on street. If you drive to the track for stock classes it may be an issue.

Have you asked on the racing forum?

Best regards,

Michael
