Started this process a few days ago on the targa. The back window is a pain because of the angle but if you cut the trash bags into pieces the size of printer paper and spray it with pure ammonia it works very well. The blue cleaners with ammonia and simple green with saran wrap didnt do it for me. Pure ammonia plus black trash bags works great.

I never get around to doing this, going to try it soon. You mentioned using pure amonia -- doesn't that make the car stink real bad? I have a coupe which is a little harder to air out. I can't imagine a worse smell.
