Are there any mechanical differences 84-86 3.2?

I know that they changed the interior in 85 and included Automatic heat control in 86, but are there any mechanical differences?

Thanks

Aerial moved from front wing to screen for 85

Pretty much all stayed the same in regards to the engine. In '86 the seats were lowered and bigger torsion bars.

Did the front oil cooler change a bit?

Bigger CV's in '85 I believe.
Someone confirm.

Rear t-bars went from 24.4mm to 25mm for 86. Front sway bar went up 1mm also.
I believe the 84 had a tube oil cooler in the front right fender and in 85 it went to the finned radiator style (no fan).
Engine hp and torque were the same for US destination cars at 207hp.

I believe it was 86 or 87 where the dash could be removed without the windshield being removed. Screws were accessible from inside. Early 84's had 24 pin motronic, later years 28 pin.

drivers side seat is 20mm lower in 86...

In Australia all cars spec'd to accept unlead fuel and compression down and power dropped from 231hp to 207hp.

My 86 is a 24 pins. As I understand it, the 24 pin chip fits 84-87.

edit: (At some point in 87 they switched to the 28 pin, but there are 24 pin Motronic's in early 87's)

Thanks for the info guys, seems like the main differences are cosmetic and in the suspension.
