My old man is looking for a particular color....
It's from the early to mid 70's, and it was brown. The only thing he can remember is that it was really rich in color. Post any pics of brown cars, and then maybe I can finally find the car wants to buy and get him in the club ;)

I believe Sepia was the Porsche color for the darker brown.

check this link for 911/912 paint colors from 65 to 69, then 76 (all the 912 years) but I think you'll find what you want as well as the paint mix code.

Here's a thread started a couple weeks ago about brown 911s. Have your dad take a look at these cars and see if one is painted the brown he remembers.

Your dad's in good Company; Dr. Ferry Porsche loved brown ones too and that's why there are so many brown tones in the P-pallette.
