Replaced the headlight on the passenger side after the low beam stopped working.. Still not working.. High beams work. Am upgrading soon to a relay system I've ordered.. Could it be the switch in the car, or a wire, contact etc? Anyone with experience in this?
Also, my turn signal indicators both flash when right or left signal is activated.. Do I need a new flasher? And where might that be? Lots of questions.. would appreciate any help zach |

I'll take the first shot. I believe that high beam and low beam are on separate fuses, so check the fuse block to see if you have a bad fuse or poor connection. Wiring diagrams are available on this site, but your fuses should be labeled. As far as the turn signals, I would suspect a poor ground somewhere. Do the lights on the front and rear blink correctly? Clean all connections at the lights, and inspect the ground wires as well. Good hunting.

There are separate fuses for left and right high and low beams (at least on my 86 911). Check your passenger side low beam fuse.

Schary,
Always good to post year of car, any mods. so respondents can know what you are dealing with. On my early car, (when putting it back together) my turn signals acted as yours, both (dash) lights flashed. It was the turn signal relay. On my car it is way up in the trunk, past the brake reservoir in a cluster of three relays.
