I thought you would enjoy some pics from Sunday's Mid-Ohio Vintage Grand Prix.
I will start with the Porsches.... Here is a nice 907 (I think) How about this beauty...Unfortunately it did not go on the track. But it was for sale...& I forgot my checkbook! ![]() I will post more later...I am having trouble uploading right now. It was taking 3-5 minutes per photo, & now it won't work at all.

More pics....
How about a McLaren? How about a couple of really wild...Vegas! Funny, but I don't remember Chevy offering 6+ liter V8 Vegas. The red one kicked butt in its race, passing lots of cars to take an easy win. ![]() Here is some more American horsepower.... Unfortunately, this one later ended up in the wall in the esses.... This next one's just for JackMan.... More later....

As promised, Italian cars...but first 1 more British car that is just too cute to leave out. FYI, the honored marques were "The cars of Italy", so there were LOTS of Alfas.
![]() ![]() A little humor.... German cars next!

German cars....
Talk about horsepower! Check this out...Sorry, this isn't a very good photo -- it doesn't show the cute little wing on the back. Sorry, no more German race cars, but here is another really nice Camaro that I missed before.... That's all for now. Stay tuned for more race cars, including the formula cars. And I have lots of good spectator car photos, including some incredible Porsches. I'll be back....

I'm back for a few minutes. Let's switch gears for awhile & move on to street cars, starting with (of course) the Porsches...Do any of these cars belong to Pelicans?
A beautiful 914-6...great color for this car.... How about this nice little number...way cool.... ![]() For some reason I really, really like this next car.... ![]() Here are my final Porsche photos...an INCREDIBLE long-hood....

Non-Porsche street-car pics...Let's start with more Italian cars....
License plate on this one read "F1 CHAMP" I really like this car. I have always liked Alfa Spiders & this one is set up exactly like I would want it...color, roll-bar, wheels & exhaust. Very nice car. I want it. Here is an interesting one...It has a Ferrari engine...Anyone know more about this car? ![]() Check out the exhaust on this one. I looked at another Maranello & it has 2 pipes per side, but the bumper is cut out (& blocked with a black "plug") where the inside "3rd" pipe is on this car -- in other words, he didn't even have to cut the bumper. It looks like it was made for a 3/side mod. I like it. I don't think I have ever seen a car with 3 pipes per side. ![]() Yes this last one is Italian (I think)...It is an Innocentti (sp?), which I believe is an Italian version of the Mini. Can someone confirm that Innocenttis were built in Italy? ![]() That's all for now. More later.

I'm back...More spectator car pics....
Anyone know what this next car is? (I know -- I just want to see how good you guys are.) Look how incredibly small it is. It is a pretty cool car. ![]() ![]() I'm interested in hearing what people think of this next car. I think it is a bit much. I don't like it. Formula cars & other race cars next....
