Since they're black, I'd say its a 99.9% chance they are the original Boge shocks and strut inserts. If you take a close look at them you'll find it stamped onto the housing.

I had the same set-up and I went with Koni adjustable shocks and strut inserts. They come with everything that you need and allow you a fairly large amount of adjustment to get the ride where you want it to be. I have the ones that adjust with the knob which is very nice.

If you want to stay with the Boge, then you can buy replacements or have your current ones re-valved.

Our host sells a very nice variety of shocks and inserts. If you check them out you may find something that strikes you. If so and you're not totally sure then do a search on that type and see what people have said about them in the past. I found that to be very beneficial when I was deciding on what type of shock/insert to go with.

On a side note, you may also want to check your bushings to see if there are worn out. If they are, then replacing them will also help out the feel of your car's suspension.

I agree that if they are black, odds are they are Boge. I know Koni makes adjustable Sport inserts for those struts. I'm not sure about Bilstein. Therefore in my opinion, the Koni Sports would be your best upgrade, or new Boge to keep the stock setup. Nothing against our host, but Jason at Paragon Products is the best I've spoken to about Koni.
