The system works
In a thread about a deal gone bad I posted my experience with a rear fender that turned out to be less than I expected as an example of buyer beware.
I was willing to chalk it up to experience since I hadn't insisted in seeing a pic but a bit of my disapointment slipped out in my post. As a follow up; the seller saw the post and e-mailed me to say he did not realize I was upset and was willing to make things right. Good for him, Good for me, Good for Pelican. |
Damn happy for ya! and glad to see there are still some good honest people of integrity in this sh**ty world.

Great to hear! It seems there are still a few here on this forum who understand what integrity and doing the right thing are, even if technically they are under no obligation to "make right" with a buyer.

It's always good to hear when "right" wins out. Personally, I appreciate that YOU posted the results of your issue. Too often, problems diagnosed on the board--transactional, such as yours, or mechanical--are not known to be resolved and readers never know which possible solution worked. The little extra effort you made to inform the community paid dividends to you, the seller, and to all of us who read for our own "education."

Good for all of ya! Everybody wins when you can work it out.
