moto-parts.com distributor rebuild

I found moto-parts.com on some past threads concerning distributor rebuilds. Has anyone used these guys lately? If so price guess on a 80 distributor rebuild?

I think I may be in need of their services.

I used them and got it back within days. I think I paid @ $200 for the work and shipping, but I did pay for overnight(so the car could sit in the garage complete!) Great people to work with.

Wow some of the threads from a year or two ago said they rebuilt them for $70. Not that $200 is bad compared to getting another one.

I've been trying to get in touch with them with no luck. But it was late Friday. I'll update with the quote.

I actually think it was 160 with shipping. I had it next dayed back and forth so that was probably 50 alone.

I talked to Roy at Moto-Parts on Thursday about a rebuild for my '80. I think he quoted me "around $150 for re-bush, clean, and inspect. If the shaft is worn they can build that up and machine it for another $75. I may use them this week. 1-2 days turnaround. Check out their web site. Been in business since 1936.
