I have a ruf like valance and would like to get a bra for extra long trips. Does anyone have any ideas. I was thinking maybe a 964 bra might fit if I cut a hole for the front AC condensor.

A google search certainly doesn't help.
EDIT: deleted link - kind of inappropriate. ![]() |

You may need a custom one made by a tent making or awning making company.
Or get one that fits on the top and one for the bottom and stitch them together. Personally, I hate bras... Please note that I have avoided any Manzeer jokes! |

Thought about just using some cut clear contact paper? Thats what the track guys use on the nice cars, and it might work if its just for long trips. Wouldn't be gorgeous but it would work.

I'm sure there are plenty of other places that sell the clear bra in bulk, but this is the first I found with a google search:

I'm not much for the clear stuff. It seems like it would be a pita to fit to the fenders and lights. It would be great if a 964 deal would fit. I hate the look of bras as well, but a friend has one. It goes on and off easy and saves his paint for those long trips.

I can agree somewhat, as the clearbra most often needs to be installed professionally . However, if done correctly, it's very hard to see where it 'starts' and where it 'ends'. A couple of friends have it installed on their cars, and has been for several years now. Their paint looks as good as new.
One of the things the PO gave me for my car when I bought it was a bra. Looking at the front of my car, it doesn't appear to have ever been used considering all of the small rock chips in the paint. Maybe find someone in your area with a 964 and a bra for you to test on yours? Just a thought...

Good point. I think there may be one. I guess I can always order one and send it back if it doesn't work.

I say punt.
Bras scratch the bodywork and look like hell when they are in use. Rock chips are like oily garage floors - proof the car is used / worked on. YMMV. |
