Need help on having a Fuchs rim repaired

While shifting into 2nd in a spirited fashion, the tail of my carrera kicked out and dinged a curb. Anyone know who would be the best to fix this???

Ouch Byron! That's got to hurt. You were streeting those?

That wheel is garbage. Most likely bend off center too. Tough break. :(

Dinged is one way of putting it :D

WHEEL REPAIR...

I just had my BBS wheels repaired, painted and polish at Pico Wheel. They specialize in wheel repair. I guy in Colorado Springs repaired one of my wheels as part of the purchase. It was bad, the wheel rim was repaired, but the alignment was not.

Call Gary Stevens at Pico Wheel in North Hollywood, CA - (818) 982-0375

add a nice piece of glass. has great potential as a coffee table at this point.

wait a minute... is that a 3 piece wheel (Lindsay Racing or similar?) If so, you can just buy a new wheel half. Of course you want to make sure the center isn't bent.

CONSTRUCTIVE COMMENTS...

Onlycafe,

I like my BBS wheels... I was only trying to help another member so your comments were off thread and not appreciated.

SORRY...

Bryon,

I think your wheel is repairable, I guess it's how much vs replacing it. See: http://www.picowheel.com/home.nxg

Onlycafe,

Sorry... I didn't see the pix of Bryon's wheel (it didn't show up without a lot of scrolling) when I fired off my reply, you were speaking to Bryon's bent wheel and not my BBS wheels. Insert foot... I'll buy lunch.

LOL Byron.

Ya know, you wouldn't have this bent rim problem if you had been running a cast version of that . . on your Carrera . . . on the street. :D ;)

I'm calling BS on this - just another rare part find for Byron - unless of course he runs without valve stems too!

whlworx.com I think thats the site. They may be able to do it. I have been to wheel shops and watched them fix wheels worse than that, I don't know how good the integrity of the wheel is afterward but it looks exactly like it would when new when they are done with it.

Thank you, actually, thanks for all the advise, but Jeremy nailed it & onlycafe caught it:D That is a 14"X19" rear 935 rim that was damaged at a race a long time ago:D I added a Fuchs center (thanks Bob Woodman)for an end table. BTW, those rim halves are NLA:( so even it would fit one of my cars, I would be screwed:(
I hope I didn't tick anyone off.
