This car looks like I have seen it here before, am I correct?

Whats up with the black and chrome trim?

Looks like someone replaced the doors or maybe just the door window trim. Aside from that the car looks pretty good. Although I think a Pelican would know it's an SC not a Carrera.

its called sun fading. Some of the anodizing fades at a different rate than the other pieces.

Yep, mine has the same thing. Looks worse than it is with the sun on it. I don't mind it actually.

No John, that was taken just after Don Garlits set the suspension up

Yes you are right mate, engine self-destructed before my ownership and that was taken when waiting for a replacement. Only half decent pic of the faded door frame I could find on my laptop.
