Any demand for NEW 8:35 R+P for 915?

Hello all.

A friend is commissioning a run of new gears to this spec..as used by rally/race cars in Europe for some time with great success.

They will be top-notch in all respects....

Obviously price as ever will depend on order size.

Would anyone who might have a use for these care to post here please?

Kind regards
David

"Build it and they will come"... :>) This is a great ratio and I think that if these things are readily available, buyers will snatch them up. I could for sure use this ratio in my car...

I'd think there would be significant interest if the 8:35 is as strong as the 8:31. I know I would have preferred to keep a 7:31 in the back of my '70 with a 3.6. The lower gears help significantly with autocross if you've got the right ratios, but the 7:31 won't last long under that type of abuse. If the 8:35 will, then I'd think there would be real interest in some circles. So- anyone know anything about the strength?

Hello all.

Yes, the strength is excellent..not one failure to date..AFAIK...

Obviously more teeth means they are silimmer, but the undercut is the crucial bit, and this has been done specifically for durability under severe punishment.

Most of the boxes use all the WEVO strengthening tricks too of course..

Kind regards
David

How much labor is involved to change R&P?
