Have a transmission 7321101 and need to know if it matches my motor. 6321204 does any one know how to do this.

Well, it is the correct year, and the 1101 is close to the 1204 considering the engines & trans were in different series, and were mixed and matched independently. The only way to know for sure is to contact PCNA and ask. However the records they currently use probably do not have the trans info.

Not to hijack, but Dave, maybe you can answer this. I've seen the same pattern a few times where the COA doesn't know the gearbox number. Any ideas why?

Matt, I asked my factory source for a Kardex for a 1970; coincidentally one VIN removed from a known Kardex. They would not provide the Kardex but offer the same info as found on the COA; without date or trans. So whatever data file the factory & PCNA currently use, it is lacking in important information; or they have very strict orders to use only a portion of the data. The older COA (say 10 years ago) did have more info than the newer ones.
